PrimeCommerce
When a parcel comes back, PrimeCommerce receives it off sale, lets you check it, and then puts it back on sale or writes it off. Each step goes into your stock history: who did it, when, and why.

Each return is marked as one or the other, and PrimeCommerce keeps them apart on the Returns screen and in the report. An RTO usually starts before dispatch: an unconfirmed order, a wrong address, a phone nobody answers. A buyer return usually starts with the product: the size, the photos, the description. How to bring RTO down: How to reduce returns (RTO) for a Facebook shop.
A parcel the courier reports as returned, or one you've marked as coming back, waits on the Returns screen until it arrives. When it's in your hands, receive it and note its condition: unopened, opened but fine, or damaged. The units are back in your stock but not on sale: they wait in quarantine until you decide. Receiving returns works on every plan. On Grow and up, a packer can receive returns without seeing your costs.
Each decision is a stock movement with its reason, who made it and when. Movements can't be edited or deleted; a mistake is put right with an opposite movement.
The returns report sets returned lines against dispatched lines and gives the return rate. Read it per product, per courier, per district, or by kind (RTO or buyer return), with how many went back to stock and how many were scrapped. It's on Grow and up, and downloads as CSV or XLSX: see the plans. What a returned parcel costs you depends on your courier's charges: compare them with the courier charges tool.
No. It comes back into quarantine, in your stock but not on sale, until you check it and choose back to stock, scrap or keep for repair.
An RTO is a parcel the courier couldn't deliver and brought back. A buyer return is one the buyer received and sent back. PrimeCommerce keeps the two apart, because each has a different cause and a different fix.
Receiving returns and deciding what happens to them works on every plan, Free included. The returns report by product, courier, district and kind is on Grow and up.
